
Ahmad Aiman Azmi
Ahmad Aiman bin Azmi is currently a PhD candidate in Saga University, Japan since 2021. His research is focusing on the Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion. He is actively researching on the Development of Advanced Hybrid Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion Technology for Low Carbon Society & Sustainable Energy System. At the same time, he serves as a research member of SATREPS-OTEC project, an international collaboration between research institutions in Japan and Malaysia. He received his Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, focused on carbon dioxide capture using solid adsorbent from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2019. He holds a Bachelor Degree (Hons) in Chemical & Bioprocess Engineering from Universiti Teknologi MARA (2018).

Nasyitah Husniyah Binti Mahbob
Nasyitah Husniyah Binti Mahbob was born on 3 rd January 1998 in Terengganu, Malaysia. She is the youngest in her family, with one sister and three brothers. She entered primary school at the age of six years old, which is one year younger than the average age to enter primary school in Malaysia. She achieved great results in her school, with 8As for PMR and 8As and 1B for SPM. After finishing school, she did Foundation Studies in Engineering at Universiti Tekonologi MARA (UiTM) in 2015 and managed to graduate with a CGPA of 3.71. In 2016, she continued her studies in Bachelor of Chemical Engineering at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), an in 2019, she began a 3-month internship with Malaysian Green Technology Corporation (MGTC) in the Sustainable Energy & Green Advisory Department. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering in 2020 with a CGPA of 3.76. Aiming to work in the educational area, she is currently pursuing her PhD in Chemical Engineering at UTM. Her research area is on carbon mitigation in Malaysian industrial sector. She also did research on energy benchmarking in Malaysian downstream oleochemical industry for her final year project during her bachelor’s degree.
