Aisha Daniyal

Aisha Daniyal graduated from Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI, Indianapolis majoring in Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Mathematics. She also has a Master of Business Administration from Uniten.  

She worked with Tenaga Nasional Berhad since 2000 in coal logistics and commodity procurement, and handling the high-level policy of coal trading, negotiating with coal sourcing country law maker to ensure coal supply reliability to the country.  

In 2021 she finally left the coal industry and joined the Program Management Office of Electric Vehicle (EV) in Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) as the organisation is moving towards its net-zero aspiration by 2050.  

Aisha was tasked to establish Malaysia first ever Zero Emission Vehicle Association (ZEVA), a coalition between all interested parties in the EV space i.e. car importers / manufacturers, charging point operators, EV owners and research bodies. ZEVA was successfully formed in December 2021 and to-date has registered close to 30 members with active role to advocate for EV usage towards reducing carbon emission. She works with the industry, around the policy makers to assist EV-friendly policy as well engaging the public on awareness topics of EV.
