Professor Ir. Dr. Siti Kartom Kamarudin

Prof. Ir. Dr Siti Kartom Kamarudin is the Professor of Chemical Engineering at Department of Chemcial & Process Engineering, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia since 2011. She is now the Director of Fuel Cell Institute of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She is a world expert in low carbon energy related to Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Technology.Her research has received numerous acknowledgments from local and international authoritiessuch as WIPO Award for the Best Women Invention from WIPO and Best Innovation Award from TIPPA. Aside from the medals and awards for her research, with Hindex 50 and total citation more than 10K, she also has received numerous publication awards. She was awarded the `Malaysia Rising Star’ in 2015 and 2016. Later in 2016, she was awarded `The World Most Influential minds’listed as top 100 world scientist in engineering for having the highest number of papers. In 2017, she was awarded the Malaysia Research Star Award’ for `Outstanding National Research: Renewable Energy, Sustainable and Environment by Thompson Reuters and MOE. Since 2016 to 2021, she is recognized as the `Highly Cited Researcher’ by Clarivate as top1% Cited Researchersin the field of Engineering.
