Professor Dr. Rizaldi Boer

He is a professor in the field of Climatology, especially Climate Risk Management, Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation. He was one of the figures behind the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change). He is currently Head of the Center for Climate Risk and Opportunity Management in Southeast Asia and Pacific (CCROM-SEAP). His focus is on climate risk management, climate vulnerability, climate insurance, and climate change adaptation & mitigation. He is active in research activities and as a resource person on a national and international scale. He completed his undergraduate and master’s education at the Bogor Agricultural Institute, Agrometeorology Study Program. He obtained his Doctorate degree from the University of Sydney, Australia in 1994.

  2. Second Place for Lecturer with National Achievement in 2008 – DIKTI
